Since my parents have been gone, I tend to realize more of what is around me, and what has disappeared.
You get to feeling that your time here on earth will pass you by quicker than you think. Because a part of you (your family) is no longer roaming the earth...but just may be a part of it...or maybe a part of something else (angels, spirits, or whatever you believe in).
So what do you do now? Live your life to the fullest? Fall into a mass depression that you can't shake? I prefer none of these. I prefer to be happy and satisfied and I don't have to live my life to fullest either. The only thing I want to do, is just live it. Plain and simple. If I learn something along the way, then so be it.
Sure, I will always miss my parents because they are not on this earth, but that doesn't mean I still can't enjoy myself the way I like while I am here. Right? (meaning, not destructively)
My mood: pretty tired
The picture that I have as my avatar, is a picture of me when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and it is intended to be blurred...just in case anyone was wondering.
Anyways, this blog is dedicated to my parents. My mother passed away in April of 2006 (she was 63 years old) and my father just recently passed away in July of 2012 (he was 79 years old).
In my blog entries, there will times that appear as if I am writing letters to my parents, and other times, it will be of memories and experiences I had of my parents when they were alive.
Now this might be a bit unusual for someone to do. Or times where it seems that I have not fully let go and/or haven't excepted the fact that they are not on this earth anymore. A small part of that is true, but I think this blog is more of a healing process, At the same time, this is a blog where I can hold onto memories and keep them fresh in my mind.
You are more than welcome to read and comment if you like. I don't bite, and I take things very lightly and don't get offended easily.
So anyways, welcome to my past...
My mood: pretty determined
